Payment Policies

Our web site uses the PayPal secure ordering system for online transacations. If you wish to order by phone we accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. If you would like to arrange for payment by check or money order, please email or call 206.525.7537 for details.

Shipping & Handling Within the United States

• Please provide full contact information on all orders.
• We deliver via UPS Ground. If you wish to have faster than normal shipping please contact us to make arrangements. UPS ground delivers within 4-7 business days (no Saturday) depending on location.
• Orders are shipped in 5 business days of credit approval. If an order will not be shipped in 5 business days, you will be notified via email. We will contact you if your order has been backordered or will not be shipped within 5 business days.
• Shipping rates for most orders within the United States are $10-$15 for UPS Ground.
  

Sales Tax

For orders to delivery addresses within the state of Washington, 8.8% sales tax is automatically added. No tax for orders outside state of WA.

Order Processing

• After you've completed your order, please print a copy and keep it for your records. You will also receive a PayPal confirmation email shortly after placing your order.
• You will be notified via email when your order has shipped.
• This web site is operated by Bon Vivant School of Cooking in Seattle, WA. Your package will arrive marked with Bon Vivant as the shipper.
  
  

Return Policy

• If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, let us know - we stand behind the quality of our product. Should you wish to return an item, please contact us in advance to arrange an exchange or refund. All refunds and exchanges must be arranged within 30 days of shipping. (Sorry, return shipping charges cannot be reimbursed. However, we will cover the cost of sending you a replacement item).
• To return an item, please ship the package prepaid and insured to: Bon Vivant School of Cooking, 4925 NE 86th Street, Seattle, WA 98115.
• We stand behind every product we sell and our manufacturers offer guarantees against defects in materials and workmanship for Sabatier 4-Star Elephant knives. However, we cannot accept returns of knives that were not purchased from us, or that have been damaged by improper use or care (placed in dishwasher, dropped, scratched from use, etc.). Please keep in mind that we are the importer of these knives, not the manufacturer. If your Sabatier knife is purchased from another source, it is not under our warranty.
